The rules we play by.
Registration, cancellations, refunds, program credits, and changes. Designed to help us plan coach staffing, group sizes, equipment, and the best possible experience for every child.
General registration policy.
Program registrations are considered reserved until the program is officially approved to run, or "green-lit," by CORE.
Once a program is green-lit, registrations are processed and become subject to the cancellation, refund, program credit, and change policies below.
For all policies, the Scheduled Program Start Date refers to the first day of the program. For example, if a summer camp week runs Monday through Friday, Monday is considered the Scheduled Program Start Date.
All programs.
Refund and administrative fees
When an approved refund is issued, the following non-refundable fees apply:
Credit card payments. Subject to a non-refundable 5% processing fee plus a $15 Administrative Fee.
Cash or check payments. Subject to a non-refundable $15 Administrative Fee.
These fees help cover payment processing, scheduling, staffing, and administrative costs associated with each registration.
Cancellations and refunds
14 or more days before the Program Start Date. Families may cancel a registration. After the applicable non-refundable fees are applied, CORE will issue a refund for the remaining eligible balance.
13 days or fewer before the Program Start Date. Cancellations are not eligible for a refund. Families may review the Program Credit options below to see whether a deferral or credit may be available.
Program credits and deferrals
If a Program Credit is applied toward a future CORE program with a registration fee greater than the credit amount, standard processing fees will apply only to the remaining balance.
Program Credit eligibility is based on when the request is received relative to the Scheduled Program Start Date:
14 or more days before: Full eligible Program Credit after the non-refundable $15 Administrative Fee.
7 to 13 days before: 75% Program Credit of the remaining eligible balance after the $15 Administrative Fee.
1 to 6 days before: 50% Program Credit of the remaining eligible balance after the $15 Administrative Fee.
On or after the Program Start Date: All sales are final, unless a specific Summer Camp illness policy applies.
Program Credits are non-refundable and may be used toward a future eligible CORE program within one year from the date the credit is issued.
Illness and COVID-19 policy
If your child is unable to attend due to illness, please contact CORE as soon as possible. For general program registrations, deferrals requested on or after the first day of the Scheduled Program Start Date are considered final, unless otherwise noted in the Summer Camp section below.
If a child tests positive for COVID-19, CORE will provide a 100% Program Credit on the remaining eligible balance after the non-refundable $15 Administrative Fee.
Summer camp policies.
These policies apply to all CORE Summer Camps, including Summer Athletics Camp, Summer Sports Performance Camp, Basketball Camp, specialty camps, and training camps.
Camp weeks
Each week of camp is considered an individual program. The first day of the camp week is considered the Scheduled Program Start Date.
Camp registrations may not be split between multiple camp weeks or automatically carried over into a different camp week.
Camp changes due to illness
If a camper misses a camp day due to illness, the missed day may be made up within the same camp week when availability allows.
If the missed camp day cannot be made up during the same week, CORE may convert the value of the missed day into a Program Credit to be used toward a future Summer Camp day during the same summer season.
Summer Camp illness credits may only be used toward eligible CORE Summer Camp programming.
Camp changes for non-illness reasons
A non-illness camp change request includes moving a camp registration from one camp week to another due to scheduling conflicts, travel plans, family needs, or other personal reasons.
All camp change requests are based on availability and must be approved by CORE.
14 or more days before the original camp week: Camp week change for a $15 Change Fee.
7 to 13 days before the original camp week: Camp week change for a $20 Change Fee.
Fewer than 7 days before the original camp week: Camp week changes are not available.
Private programs and parties.
Deposits
All private programs and private parties require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of reservation.
The remaining 50% balance will be charged within 7 days of the scheduled program or event date.
Changes
Any changes made after the 50% deposit has been placed are subject to a $15 Change Fee.
Changes are based on coach availability, location availability, schedule openings, and program details.
Cancellations
All cancellations for private programs and private parties will result in forfeiture of the 50% non-refundable deposit.

Include in your written request:
Child's full name. Program name. Original program date, camp week, or event date. Requested change or cancellation. Reason for the request. Best parent or guardian contact information.

Policy FAQ.
What is a Program Credit?
A Program Credit is a non-refundable credit that may be used toward a future eligible CORE program. Program Credits are valid for one year from the date they are issued.
What counts as the Program Start Date?
The Program Start Date is the first scheduled day of the program. For a Monday to Friday camp week, Monday is considered the Program Start Date.
Can I cancel my child's registration?
Cancellations made 14 or more days before the Scheduled Program Start Date may be eligible for a refund after non-refundable fees are applied. Cancellations made 13 days or fewer before the start date are not eligible for a refund.
Can I move my child to a different camp week?
Camp week changes may be available when requested in advance and when space allows. Change fees depend on how close the request is to the original camp week start date.
What happens if my child is sick during summer camp?
Camp days missed due to illness may be made up within the same camp week when availability allows. If a same-week make-up is not possible, CORE may convert the value of the missed day into a Program Credit for eligible Summer Camp programming.
