Character Wristband Program
Inspiring personal growth through sport. At CORE, coaches do not award wristbands for winning games or scoring points. Instead, we actively recognize participants who display exceptional effort, sportsmanship, and personal integrity.
Daily Achievement Bands
OF THE DAY
Awarded to participants who embody our three core expectations throughout the day: maintaining a positive attitude and maximum effort, showing respect for coaches, peers, and the environment, and bringing joy to every activity.
MENTION
Recognizes participants who display exemplary CORE behavior or deliver standout effort and performance during games and group activities.

Awarded to participants who consistently display positive CORE qualities and active engagement throughout the day.
- Orange: Represents courage and stepping beyond a comfort zone.
- Green: Represents positive energy and enthusiastic participation.
- Yellow: Represents a great attitude and uplifting spirit.
Specialty Bands
BAND
Awarded to young athletes who demonstrate exemplary CORE expectations consistently throughout an entire program or full camp session. Recipients may select either black or pink.
CONNECTOR
Awarded to participants who serve as natural connectors within our community by welcoming peers, bridging age groups, and helping new campers feel included. Participants can also earn this band by learning and reciting the names of all campers and coaches in programs with more than 25 people.
LEADER
Awarded to participants who lead by example, practice active listening by encouraging teammates to speak, and take initiative to ensure everyone stays engaged, supported, and included.
INTENTIONS
Awarded to children who make a positive impact through quiet acts of kindness, genuine inclusion, and supporting others without expecting recognition.
OVER
HEIGHT
Awarded to participants who demonstrate extraordinary heart by competing with high energy, relentless effort, outstanding sportsmanship, and humility. This band also honors young athletes who play intelligently by leveraging their personal strengths and adapting smartly on the field.
BAND
Awarded to children who show remarkable progress in personal accountability, authenticity, and courage over the course of an entire program or camp session.
Legacy and Achievement Bands
AROUND
MASTER
Awarded to dedicated participants who participate across various CORE programs, consistently demonstrate exemplary character, and collect every individual character band.
LEGEND
Reserved for long-term participants who have trained with CORE for at least three years and demonstrated transformational personal growth across all areas. This honor is awarded directly by Head Coach Jon.
Collector and Event Bands
CELEBRATE
Awarded to children celebrating a birthday party with CORE, or earned by dedicated collectors who gather a complete set of character wristbands -- collecting two of each core color (yellow, orange, green, blue, red, purple, and pink).
GOLD
Awarded to winners of CORE Camp Olympic Day who demonstrate exceptional teamwork, sportsmanship, and collective spirit.
STRATEGIST
Recognizes participants or coaches who demonstrate deep tactical mastery across all CORE games. Recipients show the unique ability to adjust team strategies and lead their group to success regardless of competition dynamics. This exclusive band can only be conferred by a certified Master Strategist and is the only band awarded to both campers and coaches.
